1 GENERAL
1.1 This page, together with the documents referred to on it sets out the terms of use for the website www.Roomstorentwebsite.co.uk.
1.2 The Website site is operated by Dacan Internet Limited, 95 Chorley Road, Swinton, Manchester, M27 4AA.
2 OUR SERVICE
2.1 The Roomstorentwebsite.co.uk website is set up as a sample website to showcase our offerings in terms of website development in order that You may promote Your Rooms or Properties to rent. However, you may use the website for any (legal) business or personal purpose. It doesn't need to be property or rental related. We will endeavour to register a .co.uk domain name, if available (if required) which is relevant to the website content.
2.2 The cost of a .co.uk domain name is included in the initial purchase price for upfront payments. For monthly payments the cost of the domain name will be included in the Initial Payment. We can register a different extension such as .com or .uk.com at a further agreed price.
In most cases we can also use a domain you have already registered. Please enter details of your existing domain name in the 'Further Information' field and we will send instructions to point to our server.
2.3 Once payment is received, we will check availability of your preferred domain name and register if available and if required. If your preferred domain name is not available, we will contact you with other available options. We cannot guarantee any particular domain name will be available until it is fully registered.
2.4 We will then proceed to set up Your Website with an appearance based on this Roomstorentwebsite.co.uk site. For a Standard Set Up, changes to the appearance are limited to Your business name/logo as the header and your preferred colour scheme, (main background colour and complimentary text colour). We can upload a logo or header image of your choice if you have one available. Simply email it to us as an attachment.
2.5 We can implement further design and functionality developments at an agreed additional cost if required.
3 YOUR WEBSITE PAGES - Standard Set Up
3.1 Your website will be set up initially to include a Home, Rooms or Properties, a Blog section and Contact page as well as links to Social media profiles. The Contact page will contain a feedback form for potential tenants to contact you. We can also include a map of Your location if required.
3.2 You will have access to an easy to use Admin area (Content Management System, CMS) where you can add all content and create additional pages such as About, Testimonials etc. Unlimited pages such as this can be created.
3.3 You can automatically create Rooms or Property Listing Pages which will appear under the main Rooms/Property tab in the main menu. Unlimited Rooms pages can be added here so you can add details of all Rooms or Properties you have available.
3.4 We can add further functionality as required and at an agreed additional cost. This may include sections such as a Services section. However, for most, the initial website can be grown sufficiently with the functionality already available. Please Contact us if you have further requirements.
3.5 You can link all pages to Your Social Media profiles such as Facebook, Twitter etc.
3.6 In the Settings section of Your CMS you can select which contact information to display on the contact page and in the header and footer of Your Website.
3.6 As we register a domain name and endeavour to set a website us as soon as possible, no refunds, for any reason are offered once we have incurred expense. To limit Your exposure in the event you change your mind and for no minimum term contract you may wish to consider our Monthly Payment Option.
4 TIMESCALE and PAYMENT OPTIONS
4.1 Following receipt of upfront payment or initial monthly payment, We / Dacan will set up Your website based on our 'Standard Set Up' and on Your preferences (colour scheme, supplied logo) and our discussions with you.
4.2 We will contact you once this is ready to seek your approval and at this time you will be able to populate the website via your online CMS.
4.3 Where additional design work is requested, we will create the design of the Home page, based on your brief and our discussions and then seek your approval.
4.4 Once the design is approved, we will implement any additional design requirements throughout the rest of the website and develop any further requested functionality.
4.5 The website will be hosted on its own domain, on our servers, once final approval is received.
4.6 For a Standard Set Up (where no additional work is requested), we aim to have a website ready within 5 working days of full payment or initial monthly payment. However, where this is not feasible, for example Christmas Holiday periods, we will endeavour to provide an initial design/completed website for Your approval within 2 weeks of receipt of the initial payment. Where there is a delay in excess of 2 weeks, through our own fault, for monthly payments, the recurring payment will be delayed for the corresponding amount of time.
4.7 Where additional design work is requested and We seek your feedback or approval and there is a delay in excess of 30 days in receiving feedback / approval from You, an interim invoice may be issued for 80% of the outstanding balance (for upfront purchases) or monthly payments will continue to be processed until approval is received.
4.8 Following approval of the initial design, should You subsequently wish to cancel Our agreement, the full balance will fall due immediately for the Upfront purchase option where additional work was requested.
4.9 Where there are additional design or development requests, this will entail extra work and an estimate provided. If agreed, this amount must be settled either when the website goes live or as an agreed increased monthly amount.
4.10 Where a monthly recurring payment is cancelled and there is an outstanding balance from additional work, this will fall due immediately by Invoice.
4.11 For additional work over and above our Standard Set Up, the agreed amount will fall due immediately a website is set live and hosted on its domain.
4.12 We have two payment options:
- Upfront payment for 1 or 2 years
- Monthly Payment Option
4.13 Where upfront payment is selected this must be paid prior to any work commencing. We will then register your preferred domain name (if available).
4.14 Monthly Payment Option: Monthly cost for the Standard Set Up is £10. An Initial Payment must be made prior to commencement of any work. This initial payment will be 310 plus the cost of a domain name. Where a .co.uk domain name is selected the Initial payment will be £20.
4.15 Other domain name options (.com, .net etc) may be used at an agreed extra charge.
4.16 In most cases, we can also use a pre-registered domain name or one You register yourself.
4.17 There is no minimum term contract for Monthly Payment Options where the Standard Set up is used.
4.18 Where there is additional design or development work required and an estimate provided, if agreed, this amount will be contractual and must be paid once the website is complete.
4.19 We may come to some form of agreement on the payment terms of this additional amount. This may be settled upfront or, with our agreement, an increase in Monthly Payments or a deposit and smaller monthly payments.
4.21 Initial Monthly payments must be made by Debit or Credit Card via our payment processors.
4.20 Please ensure Your contact details are kept up to date so we may contact you at any time.
